12th Annual Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS) Symposium

Thursday November 2 at 8:30-5:30 p.m. EST

Live Event

  • This year, the VOWS Symposium convenes leading thinkers and stakeholders to discuss veteran and military spouse support and retention in civilian careers. Registrants will hear from top officials and industry leaders who will discuss the importance of military cultural competency and retention of veterans in the workforce. The event will feature a discussion on supporting those who continue to serve as Reservists and military spouses, and workshops to help veterans and hiring managers translate military skills to civilian workplace demands. These Symposiums encourage organizations to collaborate, and to develop and share recruiting and retention best practices. Learn more here.

 

Stand Up For Heroes

  • New York’s highly anticipated night of hope, healing and laughter returns live and in-person once again, featuring performances by Jimmy Carr, Josh Groban, John Mellencamp, Tracy Morgan, Ronny Chieng, Shane Gillis, Jon Stewart and more. New York City Veterans Day Parade

Saturday, November 11th, at 11 a.m. EST

  • This year’s Grand Marshal is This year’s Grand Marshal is Lieutenant General (Retired) Mike Linnington, CEO of Wounded Warrior Project. Mike led troops into battle in Iraq and Afghanistan, and has dedicated his life to serving those who have served.

    The Parade will step off between 12:00 and 12:30 and run until 3:30 ~ 4:00 pm. The Parade will proceed on its traditional route, stepping off at 26th Street and Fifth Avenue and going north on Fifth Avenue. The end point is 45th Street & Fifth Avenue. Learn more here.
