A number of organizations and companies are attending, providing veteran students from CUNY College campuses the opportunity to mingle and build connections. The Veteran Artist Program presents their 2015 NYC Veterans Day Showcase in partnership with Lincoln Center and Wild Turkey Bourbon. The show will feature work by professional veteran artists in music, theater, film, dance, poetry and prose, and will be hosted by James P. Connolly. Glory Denied is the true story of Col. Floyd “Jim” Thompson, the longest-held prisoner of war in American history. Adapted from Tom Philpott’s book of the same name, Glory Denied is a powerful musical account of Col. Thompson’s story.
